Our Approach
In therapy, we aim to create a partnership built on trust, respect, and collaboration. Our approach is client-centered, meaning that your goals and needs shape the journey. Together, we’ll work to identify patterns, process emotions, and explore strategies that promote healing and resilience. Sessions with me are conversational, interactive, and often infused with humor when appropriate, because we believe in the power of laughter as part of the healing process.
We specialize in working with African American and Black youth and families, focusing on navigating challenges like identity, anxiety, trauma, and interpersonal relationships. We also have experience supporting clients in improving communication, managing life transitions, and building emotional wellness. Our practice is rooted in the belief that every person has inherent worth and the capacity to grow into their full potential.
We aim to provide a space where you can show up as your authentic self. Our goal is not just to help you overcome challenges but to empower you to live a life of purpose and joy. Let’s work together to uncover what’s possible for you!
